Senior Bridge Engineer/P.E.
We are looking for an experienced Bridge Engineer to help us increase our market share across PA. This position would be based in our downtown Pittsburgh office. The selected candidate will:
Provide the leadership and energy necessary to motivate staff and achieve goals
Perform construction administration duties, calculate quantities, develop construction cost estimates, and prepare calculations to support bridge, culvert, and wall designs
Utilize design software to support designs and support the preparation of CAD drawings using Microstation software
Prepare cost estimates and technical specs for structure designs; prepare contract specifications; prepare letters, reports and documents required for design submissions
Perform bridge safety inspection, prepare inspection reports, and perform field site views
Deliver projects within budgets, and in compliance with client and division-specific quality control procedures and guidelines
Required Skills/Experience: BS in civil engineering; Valid PA P.E. license; Bridge design using Microstation; Minimum 5years experience with transportation engineering projects specializing in bridge design; Experience with PennDOT Bridge design and PennDOT project development processes.**Candidates with more than 5 years experience are also encouraged to apply; salary will be DOE.
