Provide overall project administration and oversight for highway and bridge projects. Oversee total construction to ensure contractor compliance with contract documents, plans, specifications standards and special provisions on small non-complex to large complex projects. Includes interfacing with client representatives, contractors and subcontractors. Maintain project documentation in accordance with client policies, procedures and standards. Plan, coordinate and supervise all oversight activities of a staff of construction inspectors/supervisors assigned to individual projects. Perform additional assignments per the clients direction. May be required to perform these activities on one or more projects simultaneously. Provide construction scheduling, constructability review and claim avoidance/analysis assistance to highway and bridge design personnel. Assist the Vice President for Pennsylvania Construction Management with marketing and/or business development efforts as well as recruiting and training construction inspection personnel.
Job Requirements:
Pennsylvania PE Registration or NICET Level 4 (Transportation/Highway Construction) Certification;
Ten years of highway/bridge construction inspection supervision/management experience;
