G.A. & F.C. Wagman Inc., a heavy civil contractor specializing in transportation infrastructure, is currently seeking Mixer Truck Drivers with a CDL Class A with endorsements to join our team.
Will drive/operate a mobile truck and maintain proper mix and calibration of the mobile mixer. Must be able to operate a rubber-tire loader and backhoe in order to load mixer as well as assemble and attach concrete chutes to the back of the truck. Must be able to control appropriate levers on trucks to discharge concrete according to specification from the contractor and owner calibration and pour schedule. Will maintain drivers log and other paperwork/record keeping and perform daily post-trip on vehicle and equipment. Labor work to be performed when not driving. Must be willing to travel and work various shifts- including nights and weekends. Must be willing to stay out of town for weeks at a time.
Previous commercial truck driving experience is preferred. Must meet insurability for driving requirements of the company, meet the Department of Transportation (DOT) physical requirements, and carry a physical exam card. Pre-employment drug screen required. High school diploma or equivalent general education degree required.
